During the Demacian effort to relieve Piltover from the Black Winter, Vayne entered Zaun and discovered evidence that Tingson's megacorp was experimenting with necromantic hextech, using the bodies of undead taken from Shurima during the Hextech Revolution. He signed a confession, which was used to justify a League proclamation authorizing Demacian intervention in Zaun. [2]
